Dumpster Chihuahua Update

dumpster chi2

Remember the Chihuahua with a broken leg who was abandoned in a trash dumpster?  Well, look at him now!  His leg healed very nicely at shelter, after a cast was on for over a month.  He has been adopted, and is very comfy and warm in his new home.

Fritz Childrey Fund for Older Friends Adoption

We have another shelter graduate through the Fritz Childrey Fund for Older Friends!  This little pug had a cancerous tumor removed several years ago, and recently his owner passed away.  Today, he left us for his new home.

Scenes from the shelter

In the first one, Jeremy decides that Lisa’s back is the perfect resting place. He loves naptime!  In the second one, what do you think these four shelter graduates are telling April? (Hint:  She had some cheese to snack on, and yes, she did share.)
