At Danville Area Humane Society, we are dedicated to finding loving homes for our shelter animals. Our website showcases the pets available for adoption, and we collaborate with various rescue groups to help purebred animals find their forever homes. We also offer workshops on responsible pet ownership to ensure that new pet parents understand their companions' needs.
 
Our knowledgeable adoption counselors are here to assist you with any questions or concerns regarding our animals. We conduct follow-up calls and visits to ensure a smooth transition for both the pet and the new owner.
 
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse adoption if we believe it is not in the best interest of the animal.

Adoption fees include:
 
- Cats: $100 (includes spay/neuter and vaccinations)
- Dogs: $100 (includes spay/neuter and vaccinations)
- Small Animals like rabbits and guinea pigs: $15-$100 depending on species
